My objective is to clarify these diverse coaching modalities for those who aspire to become coaches, and/or advance coaching skills.

Evelyn Tian

Evelyn is an Advanced Certified Mentor Coach (ACMC), Certified Coach Supervisor, Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Team Coach, and Certified Enterprise Coach. She also holds certifications as a Performance Coach, Executive Coach, and Master Coach, with a focus on behavior-based coaching.

Since 2011, Evelyn has been mentoring agile and professional coaches, many of whom are now active ACC, PCC, CTC, and CEC credential holders. As of November 2023, she has supported practitioners from over 80 countries.

Evelyn is a co-founder of the Enterprise Coaching Institute (ECI), an ICF-accredited training provider that offers ICF ACC and PCC level programs.

Mentor Coaching


Mentor coaching provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level. A coach works with a Mentor Coach in the area of their coaching skills, where mentor coaching is intended to serve as a developmental process for the coach. Mentor coaching takes place in a repetitive cycle of receiving feedback regarding a coach’s coaching skills, reflecting on this feedback and practicing new skills.
